Where will Saginaw be in ten years?

$                   Will it follow the path of Andrew Forester and the Board of the expanding Children’s Zoo?

$                  Will if follow the path of Sheila Redman and the Saginaw Art Museum “growing” Saginaw’s culture and tourism base?

$                  Will it follow the path of Carole Hemminger, Annie Johnston and the Board of the new Children=s Museum?

$                  Will it follow the path of sound development and investment by the Shaheen family?

$                  Will it follow the path to a cleaner, safer city shown by Tim Dempsey and the Downtown Saginaw Association? 

$                  Will it follow  the path of parades and Friday Night Live created by Jeannie Conger and the PRIDE Board of Directors?

$                  Will it follow the path to a healthier, vibrant community marked by St. Mary=s and Covenant Hospitals? 

$                  Will it follow the path marked by Dick Garber and the Saginaw Spirit. 

All these people and organizations have used their talent and voices to improve our community.  Their vision is one of growth and betterment for all citizens.  Their actions speak volumes.  They lead. They foster growth.  They create jobs. They each in their own way make our community better.  Their paths of course are paths of cooperation and achievement.

Will Saginaw follow a path of anger, bad math,  clever half truths and self destruction offered by the proponents of a continued tax cap?
